Opened as Liberty Memorial in 1926, the National WWI Museum and Memorial is celebrating its centennial this year.
Join us on a three-part walking tour series that carves through the history of the Museum and Memorial and the elements of its distinctive design, with this session focusing on interior architecture and recent Gallery renovations.
Light refreshments will be provided after the tour. All tours will include walking up and down multiple flights of stairs, both indoors and outdoors. Please wear comfortable walking shoes.
Hosted in partnership with the Museum of Kansas City and conjunction with the exhibition Story of the Museum and Memorial.
