National Doughnut Day
Did you know doughnuts were made by The Salvation Army in World War I to help boost morale? Celebrate National Doughnut Day with your favorite sweet-treats as we commemorate the contributions of The Salvation Army “Lassies” and all those who supported our troops overseas during the war. “Dough-not” miss your chance to enjoy Krispy Kreme doughnuts beginning at 10 a.m. at the Museum and Memorial’s Main Entrance (while supplies last). Presented in partnership with The Salvation Army of Kansas and Western Missouri and Krispy Kreme Doughnuts. FREE to the public | Main Entrance
